Welcome to the Newtown Chess Club's home on the internet!
We meet Saturday afternoons from 1 to 5 at the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, Newtown. Connecticut. Open to all, free of charge, regardless of playing ability.

All equipment is provided. Although we feature casual play, there is the occasional US Chess Federation rated tournament, for those interested. We are an affiliate of the US Chess Federation. The host of the club is USCF Expert Glenn Budzinski.

Chess lessons for juniors and adults are also offered through the Library.

If you're in our area on Saturday afternoon, drop by and play a game!
